Today's Journal

This morning was to be a bit of a test on how I am actually coping with the increased training. Went out for a 2hr ride and then a 30min run.

The stats were as follows:

RUN:

Reflection on today's session:

  • The recovery techniques used yesterday worked really well. These included wearing my Skins all yesterday, Drinking about 6L of water, Having a 60min kip and eating relatively well. Still need to work on getting a bit more sleep.
  • Ride this morning very easy...legs were about a 5 out of 10 (10...can't walk on them)
  • Run also was easy...legs about 5 out of 10.
  • I was relatively happy how I was feeling obviously not 100% but ok.
  • Had a good 15min stretch.
