Today's Journal



This morning was the first ascent of the Mt Gravatt hill. This session will be a regular strength session.




Reflecting on the ride:



  • The ride into Stones corner was a good 35minutes (16km)

  • The traffic was quite good.

  • The aim of the ride was to increase the gear each time we ascended the hill. Sitting tall and hands up on top of the bars.

  • The gears used for the 4 times that I went up were: 39/23, 21, 19, 17.

  • I was focussing on keeping relaxed throughout the 4 efforts.

  • The 3rd and 4th effort were getting tough....but the positive thinking worked well in getting me through it.
