Today's Journal

This week I have found a renewed enthusiasm for training. The tanties of last week are in the past. Because my body hasn't been use to such a heavy training load, things were just not pretty last week. But I think now, the body is starting to enjoy the challenges that it is being set and my frame of mind is somewhat improved.....and it just accepting that...well its just going to be like this for a few weeks yet.....and I think now I'm up for the challenge....this is going to be great!!

I felt good this morning...the air was crisp and the legs were raring to go!!! The goal was to keep a pace no more than 4.50min/km. The other goals were to focus on nutrition and hydration (15/45 rule) and try to keep a more consistent pace over the distance.

The stats of the run are as follows:

PM Session: Swim Squad

This is the best I have felt in the pool for a least 2 weeks.... a lot happier!

The legs were moving a little better but not a whole lot more than they use to.
