Hope and now a little disappointment

Within the last couple of hours I definitely think the local has begun to wear off. Things are beginning to feel like they were last week.....I still have some hope that maybe the steroid part of the injection will 'kick' in shortly....please...please...please. I'm not desperate ;-)
