Looking back and learning

IM Melbourne is well and truly done and dusted! In fact it is eleven and a half weeks ago since the epic 5th IM.

There has been little written on the race, but there is lots to be learnt. Really there has been very few words cast on a blog about the last few IM races.  It's time to reflect on the last few IM races and take some wisdom from each of them with the lead up to Busso looming.

Recently on ESPN Aussies Abroad they had an interview of Macca, an interesting character but one which we can all take something from to reach our goals, in any form of triathlon!

One of the things he refers to, is how IM is like a jigsaw puzzle and that not all the pieces fall together in every race and sometimes it takes quite a while for the pieces to come together.

As yet, I don't believe the pieces have come together. For some races, some of the pieces have to come together but not all. And in other races other pieces of the puzzle have fitted together, at this stage not all have fallen into place at the one time.

When the pieces finally fall together, I'm hoping, Kona will appear on the horizon!
